we use LinkedIn to source professional candidate for various job role. we use search option for searching candidate. X ray search has been used to source the resume using specific searching

Pros

  • Sourcing for professional candidate
  • contact of the candidate is only through message
  • some of the profile were resume is missing

Cons

  • could not find resume of the candidate
  • could not connect with candidate without follow
  • sourcing for candidate with with correct job role
  • filter option like education, current company and past company
  • missing of resume into the profile
we use this LinkedIn to source candidate where we can reach them personally. based on the skill we can filter in search option even by education details and past company are other option.
it is major used portal where we can connect with candidate directly without any personal touch. the professional skill, job role and past experience of the candidate is very genuine.

we use it major for sourcing candidate by searching the job role and skills, but communication with candidate is difficult only message is the option. some of the profile were we couldn't see resume in it . in which filter like current company, location, past company and education details are the search option.
