Overall Satisfaction with LiquidPlanner

LP is used to manage the execution of complex marketing plans and determine available resources for requested projects. Implementation is by a core team of project managers, but all individuals working on projects managed through LP use the platform to track progress, time spent and upload collateral and email conversations. The email integration is especially nice.
  • Email integration is really nice.
  • It has nice dashboard features for quick views and an understanding of where resources are being spent.
  • Not good for both tracking human resource availability and project management simultaneously. Setting up to do one, makes it hard to do the other.
  • Feels clunky and not very user-friendly.
  • We are very aware of the time spent on projects or on work for a particular client. That is useful for finding places that we can streamline and gain efficiencies.
  • Sometimes, though it feels like the management and use of LP is a huge time sink.
We had a "homebrew" time track program previously. It did one thing and it did it well--track time spent on an individual tactic or project, and it was deployed across all departments. It did not, however, capture the conversations or the work that could shed light on where problems occurred or issues were encountered.
They have been great in trying to come up with creative solutions to help us do what we want to do with the platform. I would say their support has been exceptional because we have hit them with some complex requests.

Do you think LiquidPlanner delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with LiquidPlanner's feature set?

Yes

Did LiquidPlanner live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of LiquidPlanner go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy LiquidPlanner again?

No

If you have a large project and all of the people working on it are assigned to a particular tactic from idea, to creation, to review, to execution. Putting everything in one tactic and having checklist items that everyone can see is really useful. However, once a tactic or project is marked done, it is hard to find assets and history if you want to build on that tactic for future project work. Personally, I don't like the user experience with the software. It feels clunky and not intuitive.
