Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Litmos is the primary learning management system for our entire organization (support functions, sales and operations). Litmos allows us to provide training, e-learning and record retention. We also use the Litmos content author tool to develop some SCORM training modules.

Litmos is cost effective but lacks the technological advancements of many of companies. Litmos is more B&W offerings which can have advantages.

Compliance and admin is complex, reporting is not great. But learning content and usability for computer workers is good.

Likelihood to Recommend

Litmos is good for office workers who can complete training on laptops. Litmos is not good for remote workers or line/manufacturing workers who are not technological savvy. There are a lot of challenges with the tool for people who do not operate computers often. Litmos is good for on-demand optional training. Litmos does not do well for customization of required compliance training based on timing, audiences or other more unique and complex circumstances typical of large complex operations.
