Overall Satisfaction with Litmos

We use Litmos to host both our mandatory compliance training and non-mandatory development training. We are also starting to use Litmos for onboarding purposes. Litmos allows us to manage completion through reports, and we utilise the compliance settings on courses to trigger when a user is due to complete the training again. We have 8000 colleagues, and all are registered on Litmos.

Pros

  • Content Author.
  • Litmos Assign Rules.
  • Inhouse compliance training.

Cons

  • Although the Litmos assign rule is excellent, it would be great to have an unassign rule to remove users from courses.
  • The Learner Dashboard - courses aren't displayed in due date order.
  • Only one field for a line manager.
  • Increased training compliance rates.
  • Ability to track engagement.

As mentioned in previous questions, we utilize many Litmos features and have had a positive experience with them. We also receive some good support from Litmos through our customer success manager, and we never have to wait long for responses. However, there are some areas for improvement, such as the litmos unassign rule and courses appearing in due date order.
I wasn't involved in the implementation of Litmos.
Litmos is well-suited to us, as it has an inbuilt content author tool, and we're able to utilize many of its features, such as Litmos assign rules. However, there are some drawbacks, such as the limitation to only one line manager field per colleague. This means we don't utilise the notification emails on courses, as we would want the emails to go to two managers for colleagues.
