Overall Satisfaction with Litmos

Litmos functions as our in-house LMS and houses all e-learning across multiple business concepts that can be separated by branding. Technical skills, soft skills and compliance are all based on these e-learnings. Our organization also uses the content authoring tool rather extensively. Existing integrations are utilized to streamline workflows, including HRIS integration (ADP) and calendar integrations for live-training sessions.

Pros

  • smooth learner interface that allows ease of use
  • fantastic customer support with regular check-ins

Cons

  • cleaner middle-management dashboards for distinctions between completion & compliance
  • more options for customizing dashboard views based off roles and permissions
  • add more integrations for ease of automations
  • reduction of training cost compared to previous system (50% cost reduction)
  • automated learner account creation, activation, assigning, and deactivation (time saving)
  • more streamlined e-learning records tracking (time saving & records retention)
Most experiences with other products were through Demo access while evaluating potential LMS for purchasing in 2023-2024.

Litmos was more on the user-friendly side and had a cleaner learner interface.

nothing is a pure 10 on this type of scale, some items can always be improved. Honestly though, Litmos is the most intuitive LMS I have ever worked with, and I have no regrets in choosing Litmos as our organizations LMS provider.
Implementation went as smooth as it possibly could considering company size, multiple business silos, and numerous integrations. Only thing I would have changed would be my communication of when functionalities would be "turned on" to my organization, I believe that's what caused issues in implementation. Litmos was great during this process and the tech support available was extremely beneficial.
Litmos does allow me to automate many of my menial tasks, this is beneficial to any of my colleagues who are "training departments of one".
