Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

Litmus is used by the marketing teams across the company. It's used mostly to help how the emails render across different platforms and devices to ensure that the email renders the way we want it to. It also helps with alt text misses and SPAM signs to help with better deliverability.

Pros

  • Easy to use interface
  • Ability to add new devices for email rendering
  • Great reports to ensure you're up-to-date with email standards

Cons

  • When looking at HTML of email renders, sometimes it's hard to decipher what the HTML is because it's bundled up rather than spaced out.
  • Loading times - can take a while for things to download and see what's happening.
  • Time saved on how emails are rendered across devices. It's a one-stop shop, rather than sending it to different devices for testing.
Litmus has helped the marketing team think more technical of their email and understand what else is needed for great email sending apart from message and audience. It helps them understand email rendering, audience segmentation (for bounce rates and deliverability), and being able to move away from sales-driven messages to marketing-targeting messages.

Litmus is great when you want to see how your emails are being rendered on different devices and platforms. It also shows you what your customers are using to help cater the email builds. It's also easy to use and intuitive that it allows minimal pre-training to use the system.
