Overall Satisfaction with Litmus from Validity

We use Litmus as the ultimate stop for QA. Everytime we send an email we make sure that it works in all ESPs both in light and dark mode. Litmus makes it a one click process which saves us hours of time while giving us the peace of mind that everything will look it's best to all our clients.

Pros

  • Allows us to preview emails in all EsP in both light and dark mode
  • Is extremely easy to use, basically you are one click away from QA
  • Litmus UI is intuitive and doesn't require much of a learning curve

Cons

  • I would like to have an owner of each email in the main dashboard. It's easy to get lost when a team is using it.
  • It would be awesome if they could use AI to flag emails that do not look good or have accessibility issues
  • Definitely Litmus saves HOURS of time for testing. I would say around 2 to 3 per email sent, and we send thousands monthly.
We haven't made the integration because the software we use is internal.
I don't have much say insight marketing strategy wise since I handle the operations part, and I can say that it does help to be able to look in one place at all the previews across ESPs
We normally use Litmus after we have finished crafting an email as part of our QA process. I really like that it's basically one click away, but i would like it to be nave to the software we use. But I don't think this is on Litmus, but on the company I work for.

Do you think Litmus from Validity delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Litmus from Validity's feature set?

Yes

Did Litmus from Validity live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Litmus from Validity go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Litmus from Validity again?

Yes

I believe that any time you want to test a new layout Litmus should be used to make sure the front end looks just right, specially for testing dark mode. I tend to skip it when I'm using an email template that has been tested multiple times. I don't feel like it's necessary in those cases.
