Buy Little Green Light, and I promise you won't be sorry!
Overall Satisfaction with Little Green Light
Hope Clinic uses Little Green Light for our donor management and communications. We use it for event forms and sign-ups, as well as producing year-end statements for donors. We have approximately 1,400 donors and grantors and have been able to segment our donor database into categories, which makes for easier management and communication. The price and robust nature of LGL make this a no-brainer for small to medium-size nonprofits. I can't say enough about them.
Pros
- Handles donor communications with ease.
- Integration with PayPal is seamless.
Cons
- I wish it had email formatting rather than integrating with MailChimp, but a small price to pay since it does in fact handle email communications. I've actually found that donors appreciate the "personal" touch versus the more polished, formatted email of MailChimp because they feel like the email went just to them.
- Wish it had the ability to email year-end statements as easy as it is to print them.
- Email communication has improved with our donors because they feel the email is addressed just to them.
- We've been able to improve our donor management to include gift management and pledges.
- Bloomerang and Salsa CRM
Little Green Light is reliable, easy to maneuver, and has robust features that are trustworthy, accessible, and a more user-friendly system than either Bloomerang, Salsa, DonorTools, and Eleo Online. I've tried or demoed most every system out there for small- to medium-sized nonprofits, and Little Green Light beats them all for features and pricing.
