Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor

We use LogicMonitor to monitor all physical devices and virtual instances that we provide to customers and also use internally. The data and observability that we get from the platform assist us in troubleshooting customer problems as well as forecasting growth and monitoring the general performance of all devices across our estate.

Pros

  • Breadth of technology
  • Auto discovery
  • Easy to understand graphs and metrics

Cons

  • Utilises WMI which is an outdated technology and WINRM coverage is poor.
  • RBAC for alert escalation.
  • Improved time to resolution.
  • Meeting customers' monitoring requirements
  • Helping customers plan for future growth
Support is generally good.

Overall, the usability is extremely good and the majority of users are able to teach themselves to use the platforms without extended assistance.
Haven't really used it but our initial onboarding PS was disappointing. Felt like we were being told what we needed to cover as opposed to what we wanted to cover. In addition, we were pushed into using the PS in tight time frames and we were not ready to do so.
Seems fine and relatively simple.
The general coverage and ease of use.
