Great product but doesn't have as many features like Lucidspark

We work with plant-based biotech customers and help them to build schema designs pertaining to their R&D processes in a tool called Benchling. We use Lucidchart to build a prototype of the schema before developing the physical schemas in Benchling. We define entity relationships using ER diagrams and test run the schema before creating the physical plant entities and design database tables based on the schema. We design this schema in Lucidchart and send this to our customer for review and go back and forth to modify and refine the schema and conduct schema review discussions based on the prototype and come up with a final schema design. We use Lucidchart not only for plant-based biotech customers but across domains for all our biopharma customers. ex: we use Lucidchart to design plasmids, cell lines, DNA sequences, etc, and how these entities are interrelated using relationship diagrams. Finally, once the schema design is confirmed we send this Lucidchart flow to our database design team who build the tables and physical entities in our Benchling product. We used ppt and word before to do this process which was replaced using Lucidchart which saved us a lot of time and helped us to create a streamlined process for schema designs.
