Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

As a remote employee, my organization offered to assign another employee to provide training for Lucidchart. I don't like wasting company resources if it isn't needed, so I wanted to see if I can learn on my own. Along with the tutorial and the "Helper" that provides shortcut tips while waiting for the program to load, Lucidchart was a very easy program to learn on my own, once I played around with it.
Lucidchart is one of the most intuitive programs a company can use across the board. My company utilizes Lucidchart across the organization, and among my recent hire as a Remote worker, I was invited to use the program. Working remotely, I need excellent software that helps me explain findings to CEOs and Presidents. They offered to give me training, but after playing around with the program, it was definitely easy for me to learn on my own. Anyone with basic knowledge can easily use this program in their organization. Personally, I am in charge of auditing thousands of CRM contact lists, and I utilize this program to create clear and informative flowcharts so the CEO can view them. It definitely is a bonus add-on to a spreadsheet, making information easy to view and understand trends. I will definitely use this program in the future or recommend it to any future employers.

  • Sometimes when editing the arrows and flow charts, glitches can happen, making the process annoying.
  • Helped me organize and audit contact lists that totaled over 300,000 contacts.
I use it daily with organizing my companies extensive contact lists from Salesforce and Hubspot, and it acts as a wonderful visual tool for the information I am documenting in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
Personally, I haven't had to use the support, so I can only speak on the beginning tutorial, which was very intuitive.

I think Lucidchart is well suited for bigger companies that have the need to collaborate with many individuals across a variety of departments. Smaller companies probably wouldn't need to pay a licensing fee such as this in order to create flow charts and diagrams. If there was a good free program for smaller companies, it would be excellent.

More About Your Experience with Lucidchart

  • Creating flowcharts that show the complete process of organizing hundreds of thousands of contacts by many different properties.
After creating my flowchart, which acts as a visual for the information I am auditing and inputting in a spreadsheet, I can easily select share and create a link to insert in my spreadsheet, so management and the CEO can review how their company is currently organizing their contact lists.
  • Remote Collaboration: I work in a different state as my headquarters, we can collaborate wherever we are!
  • My superior and the company CEO can check in on my work at any time, which makes remote work easy to prove.
