Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I am a new user and I have not struggled to use it so far.
Lucidchart is being used in our department to map systems diagrams, including databases, API connections, and data manipulations. Lucidchart has tools to create the right visual objects to get the point across. We use this to get a shared understanding of the underlying systems that support our services. It is used across the organization.

  • Shared Understanding
I have just started using it, but we use Atlassian, Google, Salesforce, Microsoft, AWS, and Github so I imagine those integrations will be useful.
I've never had to use it, so I do not know.

  • Miro and MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Lucidchart is much better at diagramming databases and flows. Those are much better at more abstracted brainstorming and whiteboarding tasks.
Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA Align (formerly AgileCraft), Miro, MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
It is particularly well suited for data diagramming and linking to data tables. It does a great job capturing tables, and interrelations between tables as well as user flows and what the underlying system is doing. It is less suited for open-ended whiteboarding and more abstract work tasks.
