Great, easy to use diagramming tool
Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
We use Lucidchart for diagramming and making flowcharts. I use it for technical posters, informational flyers, and such as well. It's very easy to use and I have been using it for a long, long time when it was a part of Google Docs and it was super simple to add diagrams and flowcharts to Google Docs and Slides directly without going to any other tool and doing it. That's when I started using it and since then I use it for most of my Google Docs diagrams. I am not sure what business problems there are, but it does help in getting some useful work done.
Pros
- Diagramming
- Flow Charts
- Informational Posters
Cons
- The quality and aesthetics of the templates provided can improve, they right now are monotonous, it would be good to improve those in terms of modern look and feel.
- Saves time
- Saves money in buying professional design tools
Like I mentioned, it works pretty well with Google Docs, so that's what we use majorly. But we also use Confluence a lot for our internal documentation however there is no integration with Confluence, but we just simply export the image and upload it on Confluence. It would be nice to have a direct integration so that we can add it directly to our Confluence document.

Figma has a learning curve so only the designers use it and it's fine and good. There is a huge library of templates, plugins, and practically you can make anything and everything you want to. However, the other people like engineers in my team don't know how to use it and also it's expensive if you get a license for everyone. draw.io has too limited functions and doesn't have a lot of things that are needed. Miro, Mural or Whimsical is fine for flowcharts only, I like Whimsical's look and feel and it gives out a very modern looking flow chart otherwise they don't do everything.
