Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Lucidchart is extremely intuitive. They offer a plethora of training that is helpful, especially since they are all short and have a feature where you learn via video and then perform on the actual file. With that said, users, that have utilized other flowcharting tools will not even need to watch videos to learn, it is extremely easy to learn on the fly.
Lucidchart offers us the solution to mapping out our financial controls and processes. It is a valuable resource to the organization, as viewing a flowchart enables the organization to identify bottlenecks and create solutions to remedy them. Additionally, it is utilized for the templates and planning tools that it offers (i.e. Monthly Calendar, A to B processing).

  • Ability to tag comments to specific areas (they are currently general)

Lucidchart's Slack integration was valuable to our organization. Being able to see and read comments in real-time enabled us to upkeep the hygiene of the files and remove bottlenecks.
A plethora of tools and training. I have not reached out to support, but a help key is a valuable tool.

Yes

Much of the same functionality and features. Lucidchart wins over Visio due to the collaboration component where multiple users can work on the same file in real-time and tag comments.
Luicdchart is well suited to enable a company to plan and build processes to scale. By creating a flowchart, you're able to identify the weaknesses of the processes and input solutions to remedy them. Lucidchart also enables a great way to map out and view internal controls, as you can input all the key stakeholders and learn the interactions between them.
