Overall Satisfaction with M‑Files
In Finnfund, we are using M-files for our business-critical documentation. All of our customer data is stored in M-files. We have connected our CRM solution in M-files to make it easier to use metadata in our documentation. We also have another M-files instance in which we store our agreements. It is pretty useful when it alarms us if the agreement is ending. All company financial data is archived to M-files too.

We use SharePoint in our internal use, and M-files can access that. Also, we use Teams, and some of the Teams channels are integrated into M-files. These integrations help us to improve our data management efficiency. If the document is stored in SharePoint, it is possible to use M-files to edit the same document.
We use access control to make sure who has access to particular documents. Also, multifactor authentication is in use by phone. All of our documents are encrypted to make sure that nobody can have the possibility to see the documents. These features have obligatory in our company.
M-files meet our compliant regulations. We work in the financial sector and our customer's data and agreements must be stored modern way. With M-files the audit situations are much easier than before. Also, our auditors seem to be happy, because all the data is easy to access. Our audit processes have become much faster than before.

Our integrations are very deep. All of our user information comes from AD. Dynamics 365 gives customer information to our M-files documents as metadata.
Document handling is much easier as in SharePoint. We select M-files because its metadata model fits our needs better, and it is easier to use than SharePoint. You can customize metadata easily and fast.
