Overall Satisfaction with MailChimp

I'm using Mailchimp to do automated emails and inform my customers on sales and discounts and any updated new products I have available in my product line. A business problem it addresses is that it saves time from writing separate emails to each individual that is subscribed to your email.

Pros

  • Sending out scheduled emails.
  • Customizable emails.
  • Statistics of who opened your email or not.

Cons

  • More easy to use.
  • More options to edit and customize your email, for example more font choices.
  • Automatically update subscribers via Shopify or whichever website domain we use, instead having to keep on importing from a CSV file each time you have a new subscriber.
  • Not that many receive emails from Mailchimp and or it goes to their junk email.
  • Positive that a lot my subscribers have actually engaged in my emails.

It is more used in businesses that sell products in any type of industry. It's less appropriate in medical offices.
