In my experience, Mailchimp discriminates against the disabled and company leadership ignores the problem

We contacted them about a disability access issue. In my opinion, Mailchimp discriminates against the disabled. They recently began requiring 2fa (2-factor authentication) login on all accounts, and this requirement necessitates the ownership and operation of a cell phone. In my experience, when asked for an accommodation for a person who is physically unable to use such a device and relies entirely on a computer to communicate, they flatly refused. The office of the president at their parent company Intuit was notified, and they also took no action to this point.

This could be easily resolved by adding the option for email verification, or verification by entering identifying information. Disabled people should have the same access to the product and a cell phone should never be required for access to accounts.

In my opinion, Intuit and Mailchimp are not interested in the rights of the disabled to hold jobs and participate in society. Extremely thorough efforts were made to inform them of this problem and ask for help. In my experience, they chose to stand by their policy that discriminates.

Now that it is owned by Intuit I really can't recommend it for any scenario. In my opinion, it seems most popular among those who lack technical skills and go for the easy option.

      This reply is disingenuous. I have escalated and pursued this with extreme vigor and only received uncaring responses and platitudes. If you actually care, actions and not merely words are required. Instead of a generic reply, you could post here what actions have been taken to make account access available without the need for cellular phone service. There is nothing more I could possibly do to make you aware. Only you can decide to care.
