Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ManageEngine Endpoint Central as a vulnerability management and remediation tool for our entire network. It assists us in mass remediation of critical and zero-day vulnerabilities. In addition to application management, mass updates, and the ability to create a portal with some software so that users can perform their own installations without needing to contact the IT team, there is also device management and blocking, and control and standardization of browsers.

Usability

It features an intuitive console, with menus separated by modules and submodules. After installing the device agent, it allows for centralized management. In addition, it allows us to create separate policies, where I can organize computers according to the company's structure, separating permitted software by department, mobile devices allowed only for those who need them, and test groups for application patching.

In addition to its lower price compared to competitors, ManageEngine Endpoint Central has extra features not available in others, such as remote access included within the tool, with access justification, recording, and auditing. It also has a self-service portal so that the user can install or uninstall commonly used applications without the need for an administrator.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is a great tool for managing computers, servers, and mobile devices. It allows for mass patch management, software deployment, and configuration management, as well as BitLocker functionality for encrypting hard drives, device location tracking, and remote formatting in case of problems.Excellent for managing small and large businesses with an intuitive console.
