Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is used by the marketing department, and the results from the analytics we run are used by the sales and the customer service departments. We use Marketo for some of our marketing and analytics needs, in tandem with other software. And we mainly use Marketo for our marketing automation and social media needs.

So far we have used Marketo mainly for product launches and to target new leads. The outcome we are trying to achieve is to make our target customers aware of new products as they become available and to ultimately drive sales. Marketo helps us in doing this because we are able to automate our marketing efforts and more efficiently spread the word about our new products.
We evaluated numerous tools and ultimately decided on Marketo because of the scope of our marketing efforts. We wanted something fairly simple to use and for specific situations. We also needed something that could be easily integrated and Marketo's open API was a plus. Implementation was not as quick as we wanted it to be, but we have been happy with the results we've achieved since our go-live. Some of the other options we looked at would have been too difficult to integrate or offered too much functionality for what we needed.
