Overall Satisfaction with Matillion

Matillion is our ETL (ELT) tool between our base database and our virtual warehouse, which serves our analytics. We schedule loads to run nightly, allowing efficient analysis, with our data up-to-date as of the previous day.
  • Intuitive node-based GUI.
  • Ability to schedule jobs.
  • Good cost.
  • Occasionally drops the connection.
  • GUI looks outdated.
  • Difficult to schedule.
  • Positive for cost - being able to schedule to only pay for what we use.
Occasionally nodes won't quite behave as expected. The forum and support are very good, and support is always very happy to help.
Within hours - very intuitive to begin. Some APIs are trickier but support is very happy to help.
We're a small scale company, and the ability to scale up and down as required is a must. I can imagine the product scaling with us perfectly.
Has all the features we need - no other supplier did. Fires up and down, ETL in the required format.
Cost of control, by being able to fire up and down on a schedule. Intuitive, and support is on-hand in instances where required.
