Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365

We use Microsoft 365 for all our email and official documentation. The main problem that this address is that before everyone would use different document programs and this would cause formatting issues and issues with opening and editing a document. Now that everyone is using Microsoft 365 there are little to no formatting issues and you don't have to search for a downloadable program to open someones document.

Pros

  • Universal document types
  • All the programs are very well known by every one
  • Every seems to be using the programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)

Cons

  • New Outlook is difficult to use compared to the old Outlook
  • sometimes too many options isn't a good thing
  • access to the address book in the new Outlook is impossible to use
  • digital security of data
  • uniform documents
  • programs that everyone knows
Overall Microsoft 365 usability is good. Applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are well known and easy to use. Almost everyone has used them, so training become almost obsolete. Some of the new and advanced features can be hard to use at times, but once they are learned they are very powerful. The new Outlook feels much more like a web version instead of desktop version. Using some of the features here are very difficult and frustrating compared to the older version.

Do you think Microsoft 365 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft 365's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft 365 live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Microsoft 365 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft 365 again?

Yes

Microsoft 365 would be well suited for medium to large enterprises. This is where there are several hundreds or thousands of people. Since most everyone has used one of the applications the learning curve would be reduced. Another reason would be the ability to implement security measures to prevent access to sensitive data. This could justify the cost of an Enterprise license.
