Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Business
Microsoft Office 365 Business is used across my entire organization of around 1000 people. This software is used by my organization for collaboration, presentations, financial analysis, and note taking. The accessibility of this software is extremely useful to myself and my co-workers as it allows us to work from anywhere that has an internet connection.
Pros
- Convenient for accessing anywhere
- Cross platform capabilities (Windows, iOS, web browsers, etc)
- Powerful software that has become the gold standard in ever organization (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Cons
- Mobile applications are underwhelming
- Can seem a little pricey per user, but it allowed us to eliminate bolt on software solutions for such things as video conferencing and document sharing
- The return on investment is in the efficiencies gained
- As with all new things, there is a draw back on time lost with training employees on the platform
The only other software I can compare this to would be Google Docs, along with Google Drive. This can seem like an attractive alternative since Google Docs is free, but Microsoft 365 Business is simply more powerful. For personal at home use, I could see Google Docs being an alternative. However, any business would be better suited with 365.
