Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have Copilot enabled in all MS O365 products and therefor its usage is quite extensive. Here are few of the most frequent and useful utilizations of Copilot that I'm aware about:
- In Teams meetings it is extremely to have Copilot prepare a session transcript, meeting minutes, next steps and recognize speech by person.
- In Outlook, I frequently rely on Copilot to provide alternative ways to write my business emails or proof read them.
- The Copilot image creation is very accurate and useful to customize my PowerPoint presentations.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Capture Teams Meeting minutes and summarize action items
Generate custom wallpapers, logos and other images based on personal requirements
Provide alternative wording of email content
Create interesting daily insights around my business activities

Cons

In Excel, Copilot is not accurately understanding my requirements and therefor is not recommending the correct formula for my needs
In Teams, language recognition is not very accurate, especially if the language is not supported by Copilot
Copilot frequently makes mistakes in data analysis and insights across more than 3 excel sheets

Return on Investment

Copilot's transcript and meeting summarization has led to scrum master manual effort optimization.
Copilot session summary and action items creation is bringing better traceability and management of the agreed tasks.
Email content recommendations and speech proofing have improved the communication understanding and comprehension.

Usability

My 9 star rating is based on the below criteria:
- Copilot is very user friendly and intuitive to use
- It has identical interface across all MS Office365 applications, making it very adaptable and removes change management time/effort
- New features and capabilities are frequently introduced in Copilot
- Surprisingly there are almost no technical issues in the Copilot enhancements

Alternatives Considered

ChatGPT

Copilot is dominates ChatGPT in business related capabilities, like the listed below:
- Email content recommendation making it more professional and in business language
- Copilot creates more accurate and better looking custom images per my instructions
- Copilot is better built for data analysis, consolidation and understanding, where ChatGPT has very basic delivery here

Likelihood to Recommend

I highly recommend its usage in Teams meetings to prepare a session transcript, meeting minutes,
next steps and recognize speech by person. Also within the meeting recording, there is separation between the people talking at the time.
The Copilot image creation is very accurate and useful to
customize my PowerPoint presentations and other documents.

Using Microsoft Copilot

Users and Roles

Wide diversity of positions - from master data exports to SLT/Executives
Few of the key functions are: data entry, IT department, PMO, logistics leaders, procurement, internal audit, etc.
Where being part of the IT department, the following roles are more frequently using Copilot - Scrum master, Product manager, Solution Architect, AMS Operations leaders, release train engineers, etc.

Support Headcount Required

3 - The Copilot application support is handled by 3rd party vendors and in-house we handle only the application support coordination, SLA measurements and tracking and product enhancements or modifications. Therefor we have very few internal employees assigned to manage such activities.

In case of overlapping meetings or routine sessions, to recommend which one to take priority and requires my participation.
