Top analytical tool from Microsoft
Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Excel
In my organization excel is used for storing, processing, displaying data in an intuitive format. Various teams use it to store relevant data according to their need. As I am an analytics background I personally use it with lots of formulas and calculations, and the best part is I have automated various day-to-day tasks so that they can easily be handled without writing formulas again and again.
Pros
- Graphical representation.
- Fast calculation.
- Compatible.
- Easy to learn.
Cons
- Limit on rows and columns.
- Auto calculation takes time.
- Use lot system memory.
- It comes bundled with Microsoft Office.. thus saving cost 100% if we buy individually.
- One can link DB with it, so no need to buy any other data extraction tool.
- It's easy to understand and grab knowledge of Excel thus saving 70% of the time learning it.
Microsoft Excel is legacy software and no one till now had matched the functionality of Excel. We can even automate daily tasks easily with help of macros. Also one can connect various data base to it and you are good to go without any other hassle. Google Sheets is comparatively new and still in development face. So less recommended.
