Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Exchange

Microsoft Exchange is being used across the entire organization. It is utilized for internal and external communications via email as well as scheduling meetings both internally and externally. Resource rooms are used to schedule internal meetings and can be reserved with the meeting invite. Microsoft Exchange email allows staff to communicate efficiently.

  • scalable as company grows
  • issues tend to be complex and Microsoft support needed
Years ago we used Lotus notes. It was a horrible solution with many issues. Once we migrated to Microsoft Exchange the platform was much more robust and reliable. I don't even think Lotus Notes is a viable solution any longer. Microsoft Exchange was chosen to replace Lotus Notes after researching several email solutions.
Microsoft Exchange is well suited for a larger company environment that has the staff capable of managing the system and performing upgrades/updates. It is a robust solution capable of scaling to meet the needs of a growing company. It is not well suited for a small company that does not have IT staff capable of managing a complex setup.
