Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow)

I used Microsoft Power Automate to create task workflows within my team. I primarily used this tool to automatically create items in Microsoft Tasks based on the inputs into Microsoft Forms from the wider organization. An example workflow would be: if a member of our sales team wanted a piece of content created, so they filled out the Content Request Form. Based on their inputs in this form, a task would be automatically generated and assigned to the appropriate member of our marketing team for follow up.
  • Simple automation
  • Made duplication of similar automations quick and relatively painless
  • Notifications if/when an automation was broken
  • I think general training could be improved. I'm sure there are many more uses than the simple automation tasks I was using Power Automate for, but I didn't have the time or bandwidth to dig through Microsoft's documentation on the tool.
  • Functions in the Microsoft universe
  • Basic templates for simple automations
  • Positive - allowed requests and needs to be correctly assigned and tracked in to-do lists which got collaboration off on the right foot
  • Positive - helped implement productive processes for teams working together
I haven't used any similar products and didn't have the need to evaluate other products as Microsoft Power Automate worked with the technology we already used and I was not using the tool for anything more complicated than simple task workflows.

Do you think Microsoft Power Automate delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Microsoft Power Automate's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Power Automate live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft Power Automate go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft Power Automate again?

Yes

I used Microsoft Power Automate only because my organization required us to use Microsoft products. For me, having Microsoft applications speak to each other was important, but I would only recommend it if there were no other options/tools available.
