Overall Satisfaction with MindJet MindManager

I use MindManager personally and it is not used in my organization widely. However, it is very helpful for organizing research ideas as well as for qualitative research in some cases.
  • Organizing meetings -- you can use MindManager as a way to organize meeting discussions as they happen
  • Organizing manuscripts -- instead of an outline, you can use a mindmap
  • Organizing yourself -- use mindmaps to tease out ideas for your personal projects
  • User interface -- some areas are a little clunky
  • More time -- avoided lost effort due to consolidating decisions in mindmaps
MindManager provided a quality experience at a low cost and offered a free trial. I have used online applications, but they are not as robust.
If you need to map relationships, a mindmap is sometimes the best way to go.
Most colleagues in the health care research setting would benefit from using MindManager to organize their thoughts.
