Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Like many companies, we transitioned to fully working from home at the start of the pandemic. By using Miro during meetings, we've significantly increased our ability to collaborate with each other, making meetings more productive and enjoyable. We use it to gather feedback, brainstorm, and plan out our future activities - and unlike using post-it notes on a whiteboard, the Miro ones don't blow away!
Pros
- Support collaboration.
- Provide downloads of the output.
- Allow team members to brainstorm without interrupting each other.
Cons
- The font size can be fiddly.
- It would be nice to be able to lock boards at certain times.
- The logon journey could be smoother.
- Reduced workshop time.
- Increased reach, allowing the quieter members to collaborate.
- Allowed us to draw whilst being geographically very distant.
We run global projects regularly, in fact, my team span 10 different time zones and 4 continents. By using Miro, we eliminate that distance and are able to work as we would in a single room. Just being able to see people's ideas be written down in real-time makes a massive difference. It also helps us work with people who don't have the same native languages, as they can translate (using other apps) in real-time too.
