Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helps my team brainstorm ideas on a virtual whiteboard canvas. We use it for journey maps, competitive analysis, wireframing, and focus groups. Due to the online nature of working online, Miro is a great tool for collaborating online, especially for a UX designer. Although, there are some downfalls that don't make it smooth to use.

Pros

  • Templates
  • Whiteboarding
  • Collaboration

Cons

  • Lagging when a lot of images are on the board.
  • Not allowing people without Miro accounts use and edit the board.
  • Productivity
  • Organization
  • Diagraming
Miro has really helped my team brainstorm ideas and visualize thoughts we would normally have drawn on a whiteboard in the office. But, Miro feels limited to the things you can do other than diagrams and sticky notes.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

No

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

No

To be honest, my team has Miro and Figma, and I'm not sure why I am still using Miro when Figjam looks better and is integrated easier with Figma itself.
Miro on my team is sometimes used, but often not. Miro just seems too clunky of a tool when compared to Figma and Figjam. Personally, I'm not sure why we use Miro when we can use Figjam, but Miro feels like there are still some restricting elements when using it.
