Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for design planning, dependency planning, scope planning, and allocation planning. With the use of Miro we can plan out our project into tasks which each person can take and complete. We use Miro to keep the team updated on what each of us are doing. I use Miro boards everyday to help me improve my work and stay focused. Previous we never used Miro for dependency diagram planning, and our projects would have not fixed scope and people never knew what others were doing. With Miro the above is not longer an issue.

Pros

  • Dependency Diagrams
  • Estimations
  • Organization

Cons

  • More arrows
  • Sometimes grouped items become ungrouped. I would like them to always remain grouped
  • A ability to add a Frame within a Frame
  • Reduced miscommunication
  • Reduced project delivery delays
  • Improved Productivity
Improved Communication - Team member can now share ideas, give quick feedback, and updated all in real time. This helps with fixing the communication gap that exists with people working remotely. Enhanced Creativity and Brainstorming - The team can quick map out concepts and add their own ideas in sticky notes. This helps with creating more creative project plans and solutions. Increased Engagement - With the ability to have visuals when presenting, this has kept people for engaged during meetings. Streamlined Project Management - project scoping, project time lines, task assignments, and progressing tracking.
Figma is better for prototyping. but Miro is better for everything else.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited for dependency diagrams, project planning, collaboration, project scoping, flow charts, quick idea collaboration, and presentations.
Miro is less appropriate for prototyping. Having the ability to prototype within Miro would be a great help for designers and developers. Miro should also be able to provide template slides for the user to use in a presentation.
