Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for collaborating across teams and across departments. It's a general whiteboarding tool that helps with everything from running workshops, to quick brainstorms to planning our sprints. It's really intuitive and integrates well with existing tools like Microsoft Teams. It's ideal for designing and running complex workshops and facilitates effective real-time collaboration.

Pros

  • Intelligent whiteboarding
  • Collaboration
  • Remote workshops
  • Flexbile strategic planning templates
  • General whiteboarding tools (e.g. post-its)

Cons

  • Running into server errors occasionally
  • Better support for UI/UX design work
  • More 'fun' features like high-fives or photo booths
  • Faster meetings
  • More effective collaboration
  • More effective standardization of processes
Miro has massively enhanced our ability to do cross-location, cross-functional and cross-departmental projects at a much bigger and better scale than before. We can much more easily provide the platform for global stakeholder discussions and collaborations, and we can facilitate strategic decision-making whilst including all key team members regardless of where they are.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

If you need to run a workshop remotely, it's the best tool there is. If you need to do hybrid or remote planning sessions or strategic sessions or even brainstorms, it's great. But if you want to do serious design work and create ready-to-use assets like UI designs, then you are better off in a more dedicated design tool.
