Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to collaborate on project, BUT primarily for facilitating core frameworks within our practice. One of the biggest projects that we working on now is called Curious Robot Studios and program designed for 7th and 8th grade students, teaching them AI Filmmaking. Deploying Miro within a Middle School has been an interesting journey.

Pros

  • Makes remote facilitation deeply engaging
  • Allows for teams to collaborate seamlessly at distance
  • In combination with Around - Makes working remote delightful

Cons

  • There could be more clarity around onboarding new users
  • we INSTANTLY see return in travel expenses, where facilitation is required BUT burdened with the need ti travel
  • Keeping everyones eyes on what's important is beautiful because it prevents scope creep
The integration of Around was and is revolutionary for my business.

Miro is an excellent tool when collaborating and facilitating at distance where the parties have a solid grasp on using online tools. Where I see challenges is when the people you are working with are not as familiar whe working remote and the strain is deeper when the tech literacy is not where it should be.
