Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for solo work, collaboration, and playbacks. Everywhere from project initiation and planning through to sharing project results. It is an excellent tool for sharing and capturing information and collating it into meaningful and easily accessible themes for the rest of the team and the greater organization. We use Miro for most projects and meetings.
Pros
- Miro is a great tool that bridges the gaps of many other tools.
- In collaboration, you can see what your teammates are working on in real-time.
- Handles different formats well - tables, images, text, post-its, PDF etc.
Cons
- Tables can sometimes be clumsy, but this has recently been improved.
- The max paste limit for text could be larger.
- Better application of organization brand in tool.
- It's perfect for remote workshops - especially when there is a hybrid mix of onsite and offsite staff (which ultimately saves on dual workshops or forcing staff into the office).
- Due to being able to store many formats on boards - it's got a great search feature, which means we can find assets created or stored by other colleagues.
We used it for kickoff with sponsors and product owners. We use it for onboarding and initiation workshops. We often capture preliminary requirements from stakeholders in Miro. We use it to organize the team's thoughts and generate high-level roadmaps.
