Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro in many ways, such as team planning activities, data, systems integration mapping, project planning, marketing automation plans, etc. It's my go-to tool for any time I need to work something out visually (i.e., "whiteboarding"). Often, it helps me identify gaps or questions I hadn't previously considered just by way of using the tool to design solutions or plans. As a bonus, it's also fun to use!

Pros

  • Data/systems mapping.
  • Team collaboration.
  • Marketing/project plans.
  • Vision boarding.

Cons

  • Occasionally, clunky UX (specific to web browsers, most likely).
  • Better remote team collaboration.
  • Better visualization of complex processes/ideas.
Miro has been a helpful tool for our teams to collaborate in real-time since we are remote and distributed widely. Whiteboarding is not possible. With Miro, we can achieve similar visual communication and hands-on collaboration. For me, it is most helpful in documenting/planning complex processes like marketing automation logic or a data flow diagram.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is really great for remote team collaboration, as it gives us all a virtual space to work together in real-time. This includes things like agile sprint planning. We don't use Miro as much for things that have long-term usage or are a critical fixture of our documentation, like complex project management or anything that involves data. For us, it is more of a visual aid than a way to represent a final product.
