Best for ideation and workshops
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro when facilitating workshops with clients. The prebuilt templates are very well built out and save a ton of time. We use other tools like Figma but Miro is by far the best option for sprints and workshops because of the added features like voting, breakout frames etc. and it is a much easier to use with large numbers of participants.
Pros
- Brainstorming Templates
- Facilitating UX Sprints
- Journey Maps and Service Blueprints
Cons
- Boards with many frames or complex flows can become hard to navigate
- Pre built templates save a huge amount of time while looking very professional so clients are always impressed
I use a lot of features but by far the best is the pre-built templates. They're so detailed and made by very experienced professionals so I love looking through them, getting ideas of how I can improve my own workshops by adding in a small component here and there and other times I find the perfect template that is exactly what I need
We haven't cancelled any tools in favour of Miro (We used to use docs more but that's free anyway) but having Miro do the job of so many tools does make things easier. Everything is just there in one place.
