Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for Architectural design purposes. I was introduced to Miro at beginning of the Covid. This application changed the way I work entirely. I have not make a single print since then for sketching purposes. Basically I have multiple Miro boards for each project.

Pros

  • Syncing flawlessly in between all devices that are showing the same board just like they are in same room and using same device.
  • History of the boards and ability to track changes.
  • Many different features to expedite the work
  • voting options
  • sharing boards with non-users

Cons

  • Ability to load a multipage pdf (live with sheets) from another file
  • ability to extract a multipage pdf in a way that each sheet can be changed to other pages. so basically copy and change sheet number
  • add mirror option. so I can draw lines, shapes or drawing and then mirror them like the way the command works in programs like AutoCAD
  • My productivity is 10x more with Miro.
  • It make it easy to coordinate complicated sketchs and work instructions.
  • I can show to people how to draw on a map or revise drawings.
  • I can take people through changes and revisions
Because it changed the way I work forever.
I always carry my iPad around as I can use Miro to communicate and sketch.
Just like pen and paper but I don't lose them that easy! Not getting wet, old, lost or taken.
I can use the information many many times after creation.
It saves the planet by minimizing the prints.
Others can communicate in a visual way with me and we don't need to use words.
I use the boards to sketch over drawings on iPad using apple pen. It works exactly like pen and paper but much better. I add comments, instructions and samples on the board for my colleagues to follow. I put instructions received from consultants next to drawings for everyone to see and understand the procedure. I use Miro to make complicated sketches based on drawings and export them as pdf sets for client approval and save tons of time by employing old school skills on a cutting edge platform. My colleagues can also sketch at the same time and coordinate ethe design process remotely. Another use is that I use Miro during my virtual meetings. I share a screen with Miro app open on the website.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

At the same time I work on the iPad and put my ideas to the Canvas and others in the meeting can see it in real time and also can sketch on my scree. I keep old Miros for reference and future use.I even use Miro for personal use and making notes and making travel plans. I add dates, things I want to do, maps, locations, pictures and reminders and use them during the trip.
