Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I'm launching a consulting practice and use Miro for mind mapping so I can identify patterns, connections, and gaps in my ideas.

Pros

  • Support user creativity
  • Ease of use, even for novices
  • Room to expand and upgrade

Cons

  • Templates feel overly rigid
  • AI assistance doesn't seem to align with my use case
  • I wish the sticky notes were more versatile and easier to use ... like real sticky notes
  • Helped me launch my website in a month
  • Helped me identify next steps in communication plan
  • Inspired me to think about what's possible for working with clients
I wish the sticky notes were as versatile as real-life sticky notes. As a facilitator, I have strong feelings about sticky notes!

In my opinion, Miro is much better than the built-in whiteboard function in Teams - more functionality, easier to use, and not tied to a specific platform

I anticipate and look forward to using this as a whiteboard in facilitation sessions with clients. I am concerned, though, that people might be intimidated by the new technology if they've never encountered it before.
