Overall Satisfaction with Momentum.io

We use Momentum.io as our primary call recording tool. There are a ton of use cases for it across the company - Things like automating Slack deal/customer channels, streamlining the process of updating Salesforce for our account executives and customer success managers, sharing insights to our marketing and product teams and more. In short, it allows us to take all of the unstructured data of our call transcripts and turn it into value for the company.

Pros

  • Amazing customizability/configurability when it comes to the data you want to collect.
  • It seems like the product team works very quickly, releasing new features and upgrades all the time.
  • Very fast time to value (you can easily set up automations on day 1)
  • Good integration with Slack (allows users to take actions directly in Slack)

Cons

  • UI of the Call Library - although it has all of the "must haves"
  • Help center documentation to keep up with all of the new functionality
  • Time saved by our reps (15-30minutes per call saved on pre/post call work)
  • Since CRM can be updated automatically, it allows us to capture information that we weren't able to before (things we wouldn't expect a rep to capture)
In my opinion, Momentum.io has all of the "must have" core functionality that you need. There could be some improvements made to the UI and built in reporting, but those are secondary. You can sometimes encounter errors that you need to reach out to support to address, but they are responsive and resolve issues quickly.
The other solutions we looked at in the space were more focused on coaching and a more rich experience in the call library. Momentum.io was much better positioned to deliver value directly to our reps. The level of customization you are able to use when choose what data to collect or notifications to push was a big differentiator as well.

Momentum.io would be well suited if you feel your reps are spending too much time filling out the CRM after calls or if you want to collect specific information from calls. It would also be a good choice if you want an easy way to share voice of the customer with the company.
