Overall Satisfaction with Moz

I used this with every organization I've worked for but it isn't used by the entire department I'm currently working for, which is primarily paid advertising.
The open site explorer is extremely valuable in knowing where our competitors are featured on other websites, as a way to find placements for our products. Their mozinars solve the problem of "what are some new strategies that we can implement?".
  • Open Site Explorer: Their index of websites provides a very detailed view of where your competitors are located on the web. You can use this information to go after similar placements.
  • Analytics Dashboard: A great way of measuring your current rankings and how the on-page optimization contributes to these rankings. What do you need to improve upon to increase these rankings? While rankings aren't as important these days, it will always be important to the ego of your superior.
  • Mozinars: Hands-down the best way to learn about the latest trends in digital marketing. You always finish with a great new strategy to propose to your superiors/clients.
  • They need a lower cost product for those who just want the premium mozinars. It is so valuable for those starting off in the industry who don't have clients yet, but can't justify the price.
  • Without Open Site Explorer you'd have a difficult time finding your competitors referral links.
  • Again, the mozinars and community is invaluable to any competitive digital marketer.
Raven works really well, but the mozinars and supporting community is what makes Moz so important to your digital strategy.
It's like chapstick, once you start using it you can't stop.
If someone had a terrible website and needed to a/b test designs I would recommend a product that allows for heatmaps, like Clicktale. They need to focus on a good website for conversions before focusing on SEO.
