Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint
Sharepoint enables us to monitor, collect and analyze critical business data from desktops, smartphones or any Internet-enabled devices in order to achieve an accurate view of business operations.
- Extremely convenient to collaborate effectively by setting up websites for sharing information related to projects.
- Enables users to manage documents with interactive dashboards and graphs to analyze organizational needs.
- Easy to customize, providing options to edit components and create your own custom applications to suit your organization.
- Simple and well integrated tool providing data integrity from unauthorized use.
- Some times the application freezes and locks up. However, this could be due to the network configuration from my organizations end.
- Excessive features can sometimes be overwhelming and difficult to locate.
- Loading the calendars is sometimes slow and freezes. Also configuring security is slightly complicated unless you are a SharePoint developer.
- Saved lot of time and effort while building portals to collaborate project documents for Enterprise Resource Planning.
- Enabled generating intuitive visual graphs to present the same to higher management.
- Sometimes the product due to its slow response time, doesn't get a positive feedback from customer service teams.
- Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP)
MS SharePoint integrates excellently with all the MS Office products making it the default choice for any organization using MS Office. Comparatively, its easier to build a portal on SharePoint than on Liferay for our requirements.
