Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint

We use SharePoint for customer and partner contract management. We use it as a database that's accessible to the entire company. We store MSAs, NDAs, insurance certificates, and we tag them with certain parameters so they're easily accessible. It's great to have this database as a fully searchable, living documentation set.

We Reviewed Citrix's solution as well. Citrix ShareFile is a bit rigid and only allows the user to use it the way it was designed. ... In summary, Citrix ShareFile is an awesome file sharing platform especially for medium and small corporate and organizations; on the other hand, Microsoft SharePoint has everything required in large corporations.
I would definitely say that if you have a large customer base who sign contracts for your hw/sw/services offerings that they buy, it's great to keep a digital record of all these contracts that are accessible to the entire company. This is extremely helpful to us. I would say if you don't have more than 3 digit customers doing business on a monthly basis, this is overkill for you.
