Overall Satisfaction with Navisworks
As a BIM Engineer, we did the modeling of metro stations, substations. Navisworks helps us to combine all the models i.e architecture, structure, electrical together for collaboration and do thorough clash detection at the early stage of our design so that we can remove the clashes by combining all the models and design a clash-free model.

- The free version of Navisworks is unable to append new files.
- One thing about Navisworks is that it doesn't have the facility to go to the 3D view of a particular area, autodesk may take a look over that.
- Sometimes it shows many clashes for a single clash thus increasing the number of clashes in the final report.

- Yes it is worth having Navisworks, as it can detect clashes and its other features help to complete models clash-free thus increasing productivity and saving time.
Navisworks allows viewing of our model content with others to know whether our design is correct and can be assembled for final stage. As compared to Bentley software, Navisworks is good in terms of asset management, reporting, and analysis. Its model viewing and navigation tools are really good and easy to use.
