Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

[...] uses a wide range NetSuite ERP products. Accounting and Finance are the strong points of NetSuite ERP, but we use MRP, RFSmart and FAM among other products to accomplish our goals.
We have 5 subsidiaries in the USA and Canada and are actively adding new subsidiaries in 3 different industries. We were able to have the same processes and systems across all subsidiaries and industries.

Cons

  • Project Management
  • Calendars - ie; Scheduling Work Orders
  • Employee Management/Payroll
  • Automation through scripting can be expensive. ie; $2500+ for a simple task. The ROI is very often not worth the effort.
  • CSV Imports remain the best ROI for updating data in large volumes
Spending the time to update forms for individuals or groups can be tedious and the ROI needs to be weighed heavily when simply changes are made. ie; Adding 1 custom field might entail updating 10 custom forms. Therefore, there can be a lot of "noise" for many users.
Acumatica is newer to me in my 18+ years of experience, but from what I have seen and experienced I would recommend changing to Acumatica if NetSuite ERP ever became an issue with price or usability.

For our company size (100-150 employees/Users), dollar volume and needs for basic and complex inventory management, it is a great ERP.
