Overall Satisfaction with Nintex Process Platform

Currently I use Nintex Workflow Cloud (NWC) for our IT Security Risk Assessments and processes. This includes the intake of all Risk Assessments, from the initial request, Vendor questionnaire, internal Point of Contact questionnaire, through to the IT Security review portion and production of the RA Report. This has allowed us to keep track of where each review currently is within the process. Having this has also allowed us to connect to other solutions, such as SmartSheets, and move/post information within both solutions allowing us to create Dashboards and the like. This has greatly reduced our turnaround time for these and kept everyone in the loop throughout the process.
  • Connect to other solution we already had in house such as SharePoint, SmartSheets and Fusion (Salesforce platform).
  • Allow you to track and follow each step within a workflow.
  • Easily create workflows with a drag and drop interface that anyone can use.
  • When they update the solution, they could do a better job ensuring that it will not interfere with current builds.
  • How NWC handles NULL values
  • Continuity between connectors with other solutions. Some are very in-depth but other are extremely basic.
  • It has cut down on the repeated emails
  • Allowed us to have and use data for Dashboards that Leadership and see.
  • Kept a clear vision for our end users to be connected throughout the process.
Simply put, you do not need to be in IT to use this solution. If you can write down on a pice of paper a process that you are currently doing, say via email, word document, or bounce data between systems manually, you can and probably should look into using Nintex.
Currently we use SmartSheets, Fusion (Salesforce), and to a lesser degree SharePoint. SmartSheets and Nintex go perfectly hand in hand. Any deficiencies that Nintex Workflow Cloud has (ie retaining data once the workflow has moved forward), SmartSheets does a great job covering and vice versa. Nintex can also connect to any Salesforce based solution and we use Fusion.
One of the biggest wins recently has been the ability to combine SmartSheets and Nintex Workflow Cloud to allow our Leadership Team and other end users in to see each step of the process in a dashboard. This has allowed ones a direct place to go to see where their solution is and what is needed to move forward.
