Overall Satisfaction with NoteVault

NoteVault is being used company wide by all the Project Superintendents on each job site.
  • I love the fact that you can use NoteVault across multiple devices. You can start something on your tablet and complete it on your laptop or desktop computer.
  • I love the ability to add photos directly to your notes.
  • The ability to use speech to text capabilities to take notes in the field is a very nice feature.
  • The only thing that I have any issues with is entering manpower. It does not have the ability to break down how many hours each person on site has worked. For example...if you have a company with 8 employees on site and 4 of those guys worked for 8 hours and the other 4 only worked for 6 there is no ability to separate the two at this time. I understand that they are working on changing that though.
  • I am unfamiliar with anything that relates to this.
I have used both Raken and NoteVault. It is my preference to use NoteVault due to the simplicity of it. Raken tended to be a bit cumbersome. I did not like the photo features used with Raken as opposed to the very simple straight forward approach with NoteVault.
NoteVault is perfect for remote location projects involved in the construction industry. It makes perfect sense to use it in that field.
