Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Notion mainly as a knowledge management system. Before Notion the documentation of our different squads were scattered around many google docs, making difficult to search. Notion become a place where different teams save their documentation, and everyone has access and a way to find what they are in need.

Usability

Notion’s interface is very clean and pleasing, and the keyboard shortcuts are very helpful.

Overall is easy to edit notion documents, you can make many things only dragging and dropping.

Alternatives Considered

Discourse and Atlassian Confluence

Notion is a lot more versatile allowing different formats os documents. The overall user experience and UI are a lot more pleasing and easier to use

It’s a good tool to organize and to share documentation and ideas, since Notion has many templates available it makes easier the best way of translating the ideas to the “paper”. The search can be a little clunky and it’s hard to translate ideas visually for example as a diagram.
