Overall Satisfaction with Notion

We used Notion for storing company wide documents and for the creative team to organise their project work. Its main positives are that it’s versatile and clean. It’s great for teams that need to collaborate. We stopped using it because our other apps now have a lot of the same features, such as Slack. We found onboarding Notion a little tricky to new users at times and the mobile app is poor compared to the desktop. So overall, good for organising thoughts and documents and ideas, but limited offline functionality and over complicated at times means for us it was a little frustrating.

Mostly it’s fine, but members who were less tech savvy or less used to micro sites found it harder to onboard
Slack has boards, teams has Whiteboard, so it didn’t make sense to pay for Notion going as well

Notion was useful for storyboarding and mood boards. The creative team were able to plan out character designs and share style frames in an organised manner. Feedback for creatives was also nicely laid out in Notion. This was in contrast to the production team, who felt that Streamtime and monday.com and traditional gannt excel charts did a better job of managing the project itself. It was also time consuming in terms of duplication
