Overall Satisfaction with Okta
We use Okta to streamline vendors and enhance security across the organization. Instead of having to log-in to every platform and service individually with separate passwords, we can do that from Okta and integrate 2-factor authentication as well.
Pros
- Streamlined Two-Factor Authentication across applications
- Enhances productivity by listing all available services accessible to you in one place
- Ease of integration vendors, this allows us to use Okta for all applications without having gaps in security
Cons
- Some bugs pop up to continually log in, but this happens from time to time
- If it could recommend vendors based on applications you are using, that may further maximize the value your organization is getting from each vendor.
- Increased user productivity is a big one because I do not have to search for individual vendors from scratch or remember each specific password.
- Improved security is a huge benefit. Employees may hesitate to set-up SSO or Multi-factor authentication if they have to do it for every vendor but Okta allows you to do it once and be done.
Yes, this makes logging in super efficient and allows you to seemingly transition from one vendor to another.
I have not used their education services, and maybe this is an area they can create more awareness about.
No complaints against availability or loss of services; Okta has always been reliable.
