Overall Satisfaction with ON24

On24 is used to provide our end users (employees of large organizations we engage to provide financial wellness services) with a web-based educational and financial guidance resource to complement our phone-based offering and website. We produce and present webinars on various areas of financial planning, severance counseling, survivor counseling, retirement plan and other benefit changes, and a host of other topic-specific areas that affect employees and in turn, employers.

Pros

  • ON24 is particularly responsive to issues as they occur during events as they happen.
  • ON24 is very good at dedicating the appropriate resource to answer various questions beyond event management (technical questions, reporting, and data collection, etc.)
  • ON24 is very proactive in providing updates to the business on the latest enhancements, updates, and other current events that can affect us.

Cons

  • Though we have seen a significant improvement in recent times, the chat was sometimes frustrating, either due to delays in reply, the support person not completely grasping the issue, or not being very helpful.
When we have called upon ON24 for support matters or inquiries, they have been responsive and thorough in their replies to us.
  • Many employees of the companies we engage to perform financial wellness services have used our webinars as the initial entry point to learn about what we do, and have then gained a comfort level to reach out to our financial planners by phone afterward
  • ON24 has been an effective tool to use in enticing prospective clients to learn about what we do by providing free access to one of our topic-specific webinars.
We moved away from WebEx in 2013 because of some reporting and presentation features ON24 had.
On24 is well suited for our current offering (usually 30-60 minutes) to audiences ranging from a few participants to up to 750. Our typical event format using Powerpoint slides and resources such as pdfs made available to viewers of our events along with audio further support its appropriateness. We have seen some challenges with audiences larger than 750 participants (slides not advancing, some users cannot hear, etc.) but that not really certain that's related to ON24.
