Overall Satisfaction with ON24
ON24 is used by the marketing department for campaigns for prospective customers and current customers. It's an engaging way to generate leads for the sales team.
- Lead generation
- The ON24 simu-live experience is by far the best feature for our team, and it's something we didn't find with any ON24 competitors. It allows you to create a live webinar experience while using recorded content. This means we can record webinars ahead of time, but moderate them live with live questions, polls, and other engagements.
- The question and answer widget is great - questions default to only send answers to the person that asked, but you have the option of pushing certain questions and answers to the entire audience
- The recording interface allows you to record content per slide of a presentation. This way, there's less pressure to perfec the entire presentation when recording a webinar.
- The user interface, for webinar attendees and presenters/producers, is really dated. They've worked to update the reporting interface a bit, but the entire platform could use a major update. Visually, it looks dated.
- ON24 has great webinar types to choose from, with live, simu-live and on-demand webinars all being options, but they should expand editing options for recorded webinars and webinars that you're copying. There have been several instances where I want to reuse recorded content from a previous webinar, but re-record one specific slide in the presentation, but if you're using content from another webinar, there's no way to individually record by slide.
- The amount of bugs that occur during webinars has always been an issue. The most frequent are audio issues. They can usually be solved by simply refreshing your browser, but the platform can seem really buggy.
Data collected in ON24 is manually imported usually into our marketing automation platform. It does integrate with our marketing automation platform, but the integration is very specific. Usually, it's just easier to manually import lists and attendee information into our marketing automation platform, rather than depending on the integration to work perfectly.
- We've driven lead engagement and delivered well-qualified, hot leads to our sales team, ultimately resulting in new business pipeline.
- We've started to increase customer upsells and awareness with new products being developed.
I've used GoToWebinar and the functionality doesn't even compare to ON24. In my opinion, you can't use a webinar system that's primarily developed for internal company meetings and trainings for marketing purposes. The feature needs are too different to be the same product, and the efficiency focused features in ON24 don't exist in GoToWebinar.
